HEY, I’M LAUREN!

So here’s where I get to tell you a little bit about me. Well first of all I’m mum to a beautiful 12 year old girl and wife to a lovely guy. They are the inspiration behind everything I do and fill me with so much pride every day.

I didn’t set out to be a photographer, I studied Human Resource Management at RGU and enjoyed over 15 years in the Oil & Gas industry, but I also love being creative. I bought my first “big” camera in 2010 and am now lucky enough to have turned what I initially studied as a hobby into a business that I love.

I have trained with some of the best photographers in the industry and am a qualified member of The Guild of Photographers. I love to keep learning new things, it’s a continuous journey!

For me photography is my way of celebrating life and love and capturing the beauty in the world. I love natural, creative, light filled photographs.

I do a combination of studio and location work. I have a lovely, purpose built studio at my home in Banchory. I also love to shoot in homes and outdoors, using our local areas and different seasons as natural backdrops.

I live in a beautiful part of Aberdeenshire with my husband Paul, our daughter Lola and our cheeky french bulldog Coco. I love travelling, going for family walks, laughing with friends over wine or cocktails (usually both!), eating out (we’re huge foodies!), and doing a bit of yoga.
