Natural Newborn Photography in Banchory, Aberdeenshire
The beautiful newborn stage is so lovely but also so brief - they really don’t stay this tiny for long. So for me newborn photography is all about photographing your baby in a very simple, relaxed, baby-led way. Babies really are perfect just as they are, so I love to photograph them in this minimalist way ensuring the focus is all on your beautiful baby and their tiny details.

LIFESTYLE NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
Lovely little Harris was such a star during this session at his home. I love these real life images, there’s nothing more perfect than a new baby in his parent’s arms! I feel so lucky that I get to meet such amazing families and consider it a total privilege to be able to photograph them and their new babies.
These sessions are very relaxed and natural, held in the comfort of your own home the session is unique to you.
THE TRAVELLING DRESS COLLECTIVE
So earlier this year I was really lucky to be able to take part in an amazing creative project. One dress would travel to 12 different photographers from all over the country. Each photographer would photograph the dress, bringing their own unique vision to life. We were not to share any of our images with one another until today! So, here’s a little piece of my creative vision, from my time with the dress…
As soon as I saw the beautiful dress we were using I knew I wanted my shoot for the project to be at the beach. So the dress travelled to Balmedie beach, near Aberdeen along with my friend’s lovely teenage daughter as my model.
